Commercial Electrician
Responsibilities
- Install high bay warehouse lighting using aerial lifts and perform site lighting installations
- Install and repair electrical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components of industrial machinery
- Run power supply wiring and conduit including EMT, O-CAL, Rigid, MC cable, strut, and cable trays
- Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
- Maintain and repair switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, and power supplies
- Test electrical systems using ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment
- Inspect systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and ensure code compliance
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Proficiency with NEC electrical codes and installation standards
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
- Strong commitment to job site safety protocols
- Professional demeanor with excellent work ethic
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
